Featuring Reyn Grillo, an artist of 23 years, specializing in black and grey and Laurie Bauers bringing her painting background onto the skin with vibrant colors in her tattoo artistry. Electric Jungle Tattoo is also the home of local Puna fine artists, with eclectic gifts in the art gallery gift shop.

Reyn Grillo

Beginning his career on South Beach Miami, Reyn began tattooing under Marcus Khun in his early twenties. Tattooing and travelling around the country led him to the Big Island of Hawaii, where he currently resides. He is an artist of many mediums including oil and acrylic painting, pen and ink drawings, and digital media. Reyn has the incredible talent to sketch your art right in front of you as you plan your tattoo for your session. You wont be disappointed in your experience with Reyn. He delivers quality, original art right before your eyes. His calm demeanor puts everyone at ease as they go through the ancient art of tattoo.

Laurie Bauers

Laurie began her art career at an early age, spending many years in the fine art painting world. After meeting Reyn, he began to apprentice her in the art of tattooing. Laurie brings her painting background into her tattoos, creating vibrant color pallettes in her work. She is a true artist by nature and can create a custom piece of art tailored to you. Sitting with her in tattoo ritual is a nurturing experience, with beautiful results.

Kait Young

Apprentice

Kait has also been a life long artist. She creates in a multitude of different medias and now has taken on the tattoo apprenticeship. She graduated with honors at the Big Island Atelier for oil painting in 2019. We are excited to see her evolve as an artist and bring her talent onto the skin.
